| This course is presented by senior-level oleoresin capsicum (OC) instructors certified by Mace Security International's Training Division. The two-day course certifies senior-level instructors in the use of OC for law enforcement and corrections and to authorize successful participants to certify other personnel. Topics covered include recommended guidelines for the training in and deployment of OC, use of force options, ground stabilization techniques, zones of approach and escape, surviving an OC attack, verbalization techniques and single and multiple officer OC applications. The instructional techniques recommended in this course can be applied to the instruction of any other chemical repellent product. |
