| This is 3-day course taught by ground combatives expert, Shawn Chitwood, that covers the basics of advanced grappling skills for anyone who operates in a uniform. DOGS is a drill intensive course that covers proper movement, defense, control tactics and weapon deployment while on the ground with a subject. Level 1 students can expect to master basic ground skills for the downed officer. Students will be able to recover from a downed position against an attacking subject or control and handcuff a subject during a struggle that occurs in close quarters on the ground. Additionally, students will be able to acquire and shoot at multiple targets while on the ground using our Lasers Marksmanship Training System. Course includes the Grappling Defensive Tactics DVD set. |
